Community Prayer Luncheon
I 'm meeting with Don Walters, president of the City Council Fri. 19th at Eat-N-Park to discuss ways to get more bi-partisan participation in the prayer lunch.
My meeting with Don Walters went well. He gave me a couple of ideas on how to get more exposure for the prayer lunch. He invited us to come to one of the council meetings and talk about the history of the national day of prayer and the prayer lunch. To share our vision. He suggested that we might want to consider taking turns attending the council meetins and giving the invocation (if that is the right term) before each meeting. He talked about a few other things that we can discuss at the next meeting
